What are you doing?

Braden and Emma Kate love to play in each others' bedrooms. When I haven't heard from them in a few minutes, I know that they have gotten into something. The other day I walked in and found them playing with baby bottles they had found in Emma Kate's closet. They played with these bottles for at least half an hour...who knew?

When Emma Kate was finished with the baby bottles she came into the kitchen and saw the pizza box sitting on the counter from the night before. When she saw it she started saying, "Ma, ma, ma" which means, "more." She then pulled the box off the counter and opened it looking for pizza. Let's just say that Emma Kate is not shy about eating food especially when it is pizza.
I can't turn my back for 2 seconds in my house!!

Blog sabbatical

Okay,
Just is case some of you haven't noticed, I've kind of taken a blogging sabbatical. We have been a little busy and a lot sick! The kids have been getting one cold after another and we've just been stuck inside the house. I am definitely ready for Spring. Braden had to miss his preschool Valentine's party today because he is sick. He was a little bummed...I think I was more disappointed that he was. Anyway, other than illness, all is going well in the Millard household. Soccer season is about to start so I'm trying to prepare myself to be a soccer widow again.

I will be posting new pictures and updates soon. Keep checking back.

Love,
Allison

Christmas, a little late

Okay, so I'm really late posting pictures from Christmas, but here they are.  We had a great Christmas...I didn't get to take as many pictures as I would have liked.  This year we had everyone over to our house for Christmas brunch.  It was a lot of fun, but I couldn't have done it without my mom, she and I made a great team!

Making Play-doh

Braden and I made play-doh last week for fun.  Braden really loved it; he played with the play-doh for an hour.  Emma Kate enjoyed experimenting with it too.  It was really her first time playing with play-doh so, I now have some dried play-doh stuck to my carpet.  Anyone know how to get that out?

Future cook?

Emma Kate is obsessed with my oven mitt.  Any time I have it out she insists on wearing it and walking all over the house.  I think we have a future cook on our hands.  Actually Braden is the one who loves to help me cook and bake, but Emma Kate is a little too young to help out yet.

Who me?

The other day I walked into Emma Kate's room and found her on the floor with all the diapers and wipes spread out.  It was funnier too because of her hair-do which was my fault.  I had just put cream in her hair to help her dry scalp...it all just looked so funny...her hair...diapers and wipes everywhere, I just had to snap a couple of pictures.  This all was probably way more info. than anyone wanted, but there you go.

Fall leaves

I know I'm posting a lot of pictures all at once, but we've been sick and I just haven't had time to post any pictures.  Braden enjoyed the leaves yesterday even though he is still sick.  As you can tell we have a lot of leaves.  It was so fun watching him play and have such a good time.  Now we know what to get him for Christmas.

Thankful

I asked Braden what he was thankful for and wrote his list on leaves that we cut out.  He had a lot of fun trying to cut the leaves out and of course coloring.  Here's a list of all that Braden is thankful for:  Nana, Grandpopi, Mimi, Papa, Daddy, Emma Kate, Aunt Sam, Will, Julie, Walker, Bennett, Ellen, and Jesus.  I was so proud that he came up with this list all on his own.
