Pretty pink bow

I put a bow in Emma Kate's hair for the first time yesterday!!  I've been waiting for her hair to get long enough!! I love it...John on the other hand is not so thrilled.  Emma Kate seems to like it or at least tolerate it.

Louisville, continued

Louisville

We went to Louisville to visit with Braden and Emma Kate's Nana.  We had a lot of fun, playing and swimming in the  pool.
Emma Kate playing with her big brother's toys.  That is a leggo man in her mouth, probably her favorite thing to chew on.
Braden hugging on his Aunt Samantha.
Braden loved swimming in his Nana's pool.
Emma Kate smiling for the camera.

My big girl

Emma Kate has finally gotten the hang of eating real food.  It took her a while, but she finally got it.  What a big girl!!  She'll be one in just a month.  I can't believe it.  Time flies.

Harley Scooter

Braden is riding his new Harley Scooter that he got from his Mimi and Papa for his birthday.  You can't tell in the pictures that it is a Harley, but it even makes sounds like a motorcycle.  Needless to say, he loves it.  He is also sporting his new helmet...he refuses to ride his scooter without it.

Braden's birthday party

Okay, so I'm a little late getting these pictures on here seeing as how his birthday party was over 3 weeks ago.  Braden loves Curious George so we, of course, had a Curious George party extravaganza!  I can't believe my little boy is 3 years old!!!

Braden and his cousin Walker are trying on their Curious George masks.

I just had to show off the cake that my mom and I made!  We both were so proud of it...I think I cried when we finally cut into it.  It was a lot of work, but worth every minute!

BEACH!!!

We  got back from the beach last week and I'm just now getting the photos on here.  We had a blast.  Braden loved it but did NOT like the ocean...in his words, "Mommy, I don't like waves, it's scary."   Oh well, we tried.  He did however love the sand and swimming in the pool.  Emma Kate just went along with the flow.
